MCP

Build with Scrollwork from your assistant

Connect the MCP and your agent finds and fetches the library's prompts on its own, no copy and paste.

What you need

A Scrollwork account. Without a plan, the MCP fetches the free layers with the same daily allowance as the website; with Unlimited, the whole library with no limit — see plans.

Ready in under a minute

  1. 1

Copy your command from My account

Sign in and open My account. The command is there, ready-made with your personal token.

  2. 2

    Paste it into your tool

In Claude Code it goes in the terminal. In Cursor and any MCP client that supports HTTP servers, in its mcp.json.

This is the Claude Code one (yours carries the full token)
claude mcp add --transport http scrollwork https://scrollwork.dev/api/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer sw_…"
  3. 3

Ask for it in your own words

It searches the library, shows you the options with their previews and, once you pick, fetches the prompt and builds it in your project.

    Paste it into your agent
Find a dark, cinematic template in Scrollwork for an analytics
product and build it in this project.

What it does

Two tools. Building the piece into your code is your agent's job, with the prompt in hand.

1

buscar_layers

Searches by name, style or type —“water”, “3D”, “dark landing”— and returns the pieces with their preview link and whether you have access to them.

2

obtener_prompt

Fetches the full prompt of the chosen piece so your agent can build it, just as if you'd copied it from the website.

Tips

  • Ask by feel. “Dark”, “liquid”, “editorial” find more than your industry's name.
  • Look before you pick. Every result comes with its preview link: open it before telling it which one.
  • Your token is yours. Whoever has it uses your access. If it leaks, write to team@scrollwork.dev and we'll revoke it.
